Joy Strings Performance Guild
The Goal is to build confidence in solo, ensemble and group violin performance skills by providing elementary through high school students with workshops and opportunities for community performances.

Workshops offered each week
Fall Semester Workshops begin in mid-September and run thru the first week in December.
Spring Semester Workshops begin mid-January and run thru mid-April.
TIMES: Sunday 4:00–5:00pm - and - Wednesday
4:00-5:00pm

Students may sign up for either the Wednesday or Sunday workshop and attend one workshop per week. If a workshop falls on a holiday or performance date, then the workshop is canceled for that day. Students are welcome to attend the other workshop if they wish to make up absences. Parents are ALWAYS welcome.
Performance Guild Achievement Levels
Gold sash: Students working in Suzuki Book 1.
Green sash: Students working in Suzuki Book 2.
Red sash: Students working in Suzuki Book 3.
Blue sash: Students working in Suzuki Book 4.
Purple sash: Students working in Suzuki Book 5 & above.
Community Performance Attire
Elementary & Junior High Students participating in formal performances wear solid black slacks or skirt, a solid white shirt or blouse, and their Performance Sash. Senior High Students have the option to wear solid black, or the standard white and black outfit in all formal performances. ALL performers wear black dress shoes to all formal attire performances. Sashes are optional for Sr. High.
Tuition Fees & Costs
Each Semester costs $35.00. Sashes cost $15.00 each.
